As a youngster I remember eating some charred circle shaped type of meat, which I would later understand to be a “hamburger.” While I was learning how not to cook food to the same level as he did on the grill I would become more and more infatuated with this BBQ (barbecue) culture. During the days of the hot summer and good music of the 90’s I would have friends over for one of my double cheeseburger specialties, and I loved to grill by the time I was in my late teens.
As I grew older I also learned to like the taste of a refreshing beverage that included the ingredient “Saccharomyces cerevisiae” known to us as: Beer!
Together the two blew my mind and by the time we came to Germany to start the “rest of our lives” I was a full blown BBQ aficionado (even though it is super hard to find some decent cuts of beef here at a normal price), grilling nearly everyday the sun came out from Spring through the Summer, and I especially love grilling in the snow as a challenge.
I LOVE to BBQ and as the BotBQ prototype gets closer to completion my mouth waters to be able to print some “Mario meatloaf” directly on an old grill I am refurbishing that I got just for this purpose.
